Saw part of it, couldn't watch his wife whine anymore and not lift a finger to do anything.
We had a series about two couples that lived for one full year as they would have in the 1800's. They had to build their own cabins, put in crops, hay, everything was done the 1800's way.
It was a all day chore to do the laundry and make bread.
Very, very hard life and interesting to watch.
Can't remember the name of the show but they had another one on Hudson Bay explorers routes through Northern Canada. Incredibly hard and wlderness travel.
