Any of them are fine,,,,, but do you think having multiple roosters when grown may result in fighting???
I don't have any roosters, (city ordinance) so no experience there. Just from reading other posts,, multiple roosters do OK when in large flocks,, like a 12 to 1 ratio.
Other peeps keep their roosters isolated from each other.

I thought of it because id like another one. I have 12 hens and 1 roo in one flock, but the younger hens don’t have one yet. I have 4 cockerel. Not sure if any of these will work out. I was worried about bringing in a grown bird, they probably would fight. I have always had roosters, and the only one we have kept is our EE roo. The flock is out free ranging in the orchard for the whole afternoon/evening. He protects them, feeds them, and he’s gentle.

Does anybody ever look out their window; and mistake their free ranging roosters for dinosaurs….tiny feathered t-rexs ?
just wondering…a flock just ran past…

Omg , Tomatoes…eggs…chickens…tomatoes…eggs…..chickens

Chickens are Amazing Creatures
I have a 4 year old ISA brown who has gone broody, which seems uncommon. Just think, for some reason this hybrid hen against all odds,…has decided that something is more important than laying eggs….what would Darwin say.
