Sussex NJ Poultry Show

SIX HUNDRED!!! How do you know that, usually people come and rent the cage. I have never called ahead. I have never seen so many there!!

I should still be there, although I will probably be there early. I'm mostly in the market for laying hens, but we'll see. I'm going to try hard not to buy anything unnecessary!

I do have a blue slate turkey hen I am trying to sell. She's about 3 or 4 and I'm asking $15 OBO. She is my last turkey and I'd like to get back to just having my laying chickens. If anyone is interested, let me know! I'll bring her along. I probably won't bring her unless someone from here wants her though. I want to make sure she goes to a good home where she won't be dinner!

I contacted Arlene by phone a few days ago and thats what she told me. I never been to this before as I have moved here a few years ago and this will be my first time going.

I plan to attend with my 8 yr old daughter. We live down in Byram. I grew up in Fredon where my mother still lives. I purchased my daughter some chicks a tractor supply and not knowing anything when I did it I ended up buying some cornish rocks. oh well I guess it's live and learn but I may be looking to buy some rirs or easter eggers.

Look foward to seeing you all,

Gary

Hey Jeanette, Have any blue cochins for sale at the show? My friend that I bought the black one from you last year for, might want a blue girl!

I may have some RIR rooster and maybe some bantam rooster for sale.

Gaberdeen, My mom did the same thing. She bought cornish rocks not knowing they were meat birds. I sold them to my ex boss's sister.
