he went to the palace gardens and let his hens out, 1 rooster and 4 hens, then he went to a smaller run and let out his small broody hen. he then returned to his throne to deal with the castle deeds.

Griffin took to the air with a beat of his leathery wings, he saw Ariana and swooped down to grab her

Ariana looked up, and saw Griffin. She ran to Shadow, and climbed on. "Go Shadow!" she said. Shadow took off, breathing hard.
