Just got home from the swap we had a great time. Got to meet silentrunning, firefly, Knight Hawk Ranch, sweetshoplady, eightsenough, Swamp Roo and my friend peepsnbunnies.

I came home with 2 new quail and am happy to report they took up fine with the one I already had. I also was given silkie and quail eggs thanks Lisa.

I fell in love with the OEGB's. Now I want to put up a pen and get some of them.

It was nice. Everybody was so friendly too. It was a great place for a newbie just starting out because there were enough different breeds of chickens to keep everybody happy. I also learned a lot about chickens. Thanks all for a great time. I am in the process of building a cage for my 5 new quail, but this wind is driving me crazy.

WHAT a great time for my first Chickenswap!!!
I thought I was going to be getting some Golden Sebright chickies and instead got an older trio from peepsnbunnies. The two little girls promptly layed eggs once we got home and left them alone for a few minutes.

I am wiped out and will get some pictures of these little beauties....I LOVE the roos little crow!!

My hubby surprised me in wanting to go.....he loves the little additions too.

Wow!! We sold all of those roosters I am so happy. We had fun meeting everybody and talking chickens. I fought hard not to bring anything home and then Knighthawk had to show me her RIR pictures and I brought home eggs. I am happy now though I got something. I also got a nice suprise with 3 Blue Ameraucana chicks in the hatcher and 5 more pipping.

. We finally got back to Tampa around 10:00PM after visiting with my friend. I am so tired. We got up at 5:30am to make it down there in time. I also wished I had borrowed Peeps sunscreen. Mine wore off and I am slightly sunburned on my arms and neck, but selling 5 roosters was worth it

. Can't wait for the next one....
