I realize this is a long shot, but can anyone tell me if these swan eggs are still good? From my calculations it’s been well over(two weeks) the typical 42 day incubation period. Both male and female are still sitting on them, but do take turns to come eat during the day. I guess my question is at what point do I try and remove the eggs?

Sidenote- yes, that is a golf ball. No I did not put it in there. They got it from who knows where! Ha! There were 4 eggs. I go back and there are 3 eggs and a golf ball! 🤷‍♀️

Thanks!

Did any ever hatch or were they even fertile ? You have such beautiful birds 😍

Nope! There were two eggs when I finally decided to remove them. The eggs were basically hard boiled rotten eggs!! 🤢 Now my question is can fertilized eggs up hard boiled?!?
