Swan newbie here!

Oh no!! I should have NEVER seen this post. Now I need to find out if Swans will live in the cold wet Great Northwest. I live on a mountain at the base of the Olympic Mountains and I think I need a couple of these critters.

LOL... It's tough being me. About a year ago I wanted a couple of chickens, I now have 19 laying hens. The local food bank has never received a steady supply of fresh brown eggs before. I read about Muscovy ducks, 2 weeks ago I bought 6 ducks. I saw a pic of several Toulouse Geese, as of last night, I have 4 Geese and plan to buy at least 4 more. LOL

Oh why oh why did you post this thing and the pics... can't you see what it does to me??

In all seriousness... those look so very nice and the pic's do make me want a couple.

I did read in New York, Jersey area that they wanted to kill hundreds of mute swans to protect pond weeds! It was on the internet a while ago, I would be willing to have some than to kill Gods beautiful creation...

i've seen some swans that are nasty and kill other waterfowl, they are very pretty though!

I am looking to purchase a pair of swans before early next spring -- to help control the canadian geese which took over my yard last year. Can anyone suggest where I may find a pair that are a few years old? I'm in Massachusetts. Thank you!
