If you are going to the National show we should try and figure out a place and time there that we all could meet. That would be fun. If anyone has been to this and knows a spot there let us no and we could all meet.

If I'm not mistaken, that is only a show and not a swap.
There's a big swap in Lucasville but you have to get there early on Saturday to find any deals. It's about 2 1/2 hrs from Dayton. I get up and leave the house before 5am to go to the show and the wife refuses to get up that early. If anyone in Dayton area wants to ride along you are welcome to. Here's a link to the one in Lucasville. http://www.sciotocountyohio.com/poultry02.htm
There is also a swap twice a year in West Manchester at the ball park. The next one is Sept. 12th. If interested in selling you can find his info here http://www.findfleamarket.com/info.php?id=563. West Manchester is about 10 minutes north of Eaton, OH on 127.
I dont have any thing to swap but am desperately looking for a couple of Ameraucana pullets. Perferably the blue or wheaten. I have 7 pullets now that are 12 weeks old so i would want them to be the same age as my girls so i could put them together after a quaranteen period. Please let me know what they would cost. I live in South Eastern ohio and would drive up to the dayton area.

this has nothing to do with the swap meet but i was wondering about quail.
are they just good for eating or what?
will they fly away if they are not in a pen with a lid?
thanks.
Yes you got to keep them penned up however it doesn't have to be very big. I use the eggs more than the meat my daughters eat them boiled pickled fried. The meat is great too.

Would you be interested in a light braham roo?
I should be able to hook you up with one roo but it will after the Montgomery County fair(sept 7th) my girls will be showing him but I have one I can sell you.
I will find out about the show this Thursday a guy is coming over to test my birds so I can get my npip cert so I can show them at the National Show
