I'm sorry, I didnt mean anything by it. I used to raise Dutch Bantams and knew the earlobes are white for dutch and red for OEGB. That is what the Standard of Perfection book states. Ideal hatchery could very well have crossed some dutch with old english. I was interested in getting some more dutch again and though maybe yours were dutch. Again, I'm sorry, I wasn't trying to be mean.

On the table - 6 OEGB's. Cute smaller birds for the smaller yard....

Since this thread is gettin so buried I will also throw in the option of 3 oegb with 3 Egyptian Fayoumis or 3 of my Meat bird project eggs. Your choice of 6 mix and match if you want or 6+ extras OEGB.

Have you got any pictures of your meat project birds? What are they a cross of?

They are Dark Cornish hens over Cuckoo Maran rooster. I can go take some pics of them and post them. These should be awesome dual purpose birds with thick breast and an overall big bird. I am hatching out my first set of these now and they are cute too. I have about 20 eggs in the bator and so far every single egg has been fertil from egg one and all developing nicely. Also Every egg has hatched out and been strong and healthy.

Edited to add pics of Roo and hens from Meat bird project

Here is my roo with a Dark cornish next to him.. you can sorta see how massive he is next to the hens, he is a pretty huge roo.
