I think to clarify the color issue on breeds. My feeling is we need to offer eggs of purebred breeds that will result in purebred colors, ie. Breeding a splash orp to buff orp hens is certainly purebred breeding, but no one would expect the babies to be anything but mixed colors, and certainly nothing people could add to their purebred flocks. If theres other opinions on them, Im certainly open to discussion.

Maybe we should take this on a case-by-case basis, as Im not familiar with all the breeds and their colors. Im sure there are breeds that you can breed 2 different colors and get colors that are perfectly acceptable. We'll just jump off those bridges when we come to them.
