I have a chicken down not breathing . For cpr started leghorn.

Been letting the babies out for supervised garden play time. Their coop is almost done and wow...am I ready to move them out of their brooder. Any tips on making these guys a bit friendlier, or are they just a bit wild as a rule?

Ya the meal worms do work, I feed them those by hand and when they get old enough they will start yelling for you to give them more treats, mine are kind of funny when i walk to them they walk away and when I walk away they fallow me. One other thing i do is every time i give them a treat I whistle so now every time I whistle they quack really loud and run to me

How old where your sweedish ducks when they started laying?

They should start laying at approximately 5 months, give or take a couple weeks.

Can someone tell me do the black swedish females also get the green iridescent feathers or do just the males?

Yes females can have green heads.

Thank you so much. My black swedish is quacking and my other 2 just sound like hoarse whistles lol. When my black swedish got the green/purple feathers I was really confused..
