Swedish Ducks

The girls are growing up:

This one is the one with the dark wing tips (her bib is going to be white and blue mixed)

And she has Eye shadow

The girl with huge white wing tips has very little eye shadow

And a HUGE Bib with no blue mixed in and that bib goes all the way up to her bill

They are SOOO cool to watch grow up!!!!!

They are very fun. AND are kind of liking me!

The Swedish let me (very carefully) touch them once or twice before they run away!

Oh, but you bet your shirt they come RUNNING when I bring out "Treats" (peas, broccoli, lettuce)

Of our 4 sweedish ducklings one turned our ALL BLACK, one is black with a small and broken bib, one has a white head/front fifth of his body with black spots all over, and ONE is beutiful blue with great sized bib--I thought it was close to perfect, until you said they shouldn't have the eye shadow. Oh well, I don't breed or show and think they are cute as can be--all of them. I'll try to get you guys some pics.

I know these aren't good shots od the ducks we're talking about, but I have them on hand.

I've never seen a perfect Swedish duck - mine definitely included!!

They all will have some kind of fault. They are a very hard breed to get right. So in the scheme of things, the 'eyeliner' is no big deal

As promised I snapped a few pics of the ducks this morning before work.

Alledgedly these are both swedish...I can tell my all black "swedish" by the color of the bill. The one with the spots is addmired by all my friends who know less than I do

This is the smallest of the four. It's bib is just that little bit of splotches.

And this is the blue I was thinking comes close to what they "should" look like...

It's feet are orange webbing with black toes--too cute.
