Thanks. Do you need 2 "crest genes" to make a crested bird just one, ie is it dominant or recessive?

Are all Swedish Flower hens in the US from Greenfire stock? Just wondering about the small gene pool. Are there other SFH lines to cross out to to increase genetic diversity?

As far as I know the Greenfire Farms line of Swedish Flower Hens are the only lines in the U.S. at this time
