As for the temperament of the Swedish Flower Roosters I hatched 60 Swedish Flower chicks last year. Keep 24 of them for myself. These birds were penned together for almost 10 months. 12 turned out to be Hens and 12 Roosters. I keep watching them and saying I'll separate the Roosters when they start fighting. They never did!

I did finally move 10 of the roosters out of the pen as they were over breeding some of the hens. The Temperament of this breed seams to be "VERY" docile.

I love the look of this breed so much and love that they are landrace. I am wanting to add some to my farm and was wondering if you ever have any trouble selling chicks or hatching eggs or if they are really quick to sell when you have them available? Thankyou so much

Sorry, I really don't know why I don't get notified when somebody posts here. If you want an answer fast, please send me a pm I do sell a lot of chicks and hatching eggs, and if they don't sell as chicks I just raise them and sell the females easily. Males of course are not as easy!

My eggs are hatching beautifully right now! I havent had the best of luck with shipped eggs, but these little guys are doing awesome tonight and i couldn't be happier with the outcome! Beautiful eggs, beautiful babies. Thank you again!!
