Swedish Flower Hen Thread

Disappointed today. I had ordered some SFH chicks from Greenfire. They were supposed to ship Tuesday. I have no chicks, no shipping notice and cannot get a hold of GF by phone or email. I know it is only Thursday, but I am frustrated.
Might just need to cancel the order, get an incubator and find some hatching eggs instead.
Sorry for whining here, but my husband doesn't understand. I have other new chicks here already, but these were the ones I was really looking forward to.

I too would say hold on. They are a small operation. The day I went to pick up my chicks they were vacinating and were short handed so not too much phone or email time for them.

I hope it works out for you to get your chicks from Greenfire, but if it doesn't, I am in Northern Kentucky and am up in the Cincy area quite often. I have eggs or can hatch some chicks for you. I love hatching chicks! I have 17 in the bator right now.

Thanks, folks. I mostly wanted to complain to folks who would understand my feelings. I know they are a small operation, but if you cannot make a ship date you should inform your client. That is just good business.

I have been waiting 2 yrs to be in a position where I can get my chicks and now I don't even know what is going on. It is frustrating. I guess I am just out of patience.

I see one in the middle with a chipmunk stripe...I've been wondering if they come in this color. I want to double check that all these pictured are SFH. Are they?
