No "Fragile" or anything on the box? I wonder if the PO even knew what was in there before it started to stink. Sorry this happened

Without a marked box there is no way for the PO to know that they should take extra care. Perhaps the seller is a novice at sending packages. I'd send them pics, tell them that the box is normally marked, and ask for new eggs. If it's a decent seller they'll foot the bill this time for the shipping. It's a lesson learned for them.

I just found my rooster dead in the coop...now I'm without a rooster

Do you know what killed it? If you can't find one closer, I have a couple of extras.

Many egg shippers, like me, do not mark the box unless asked to because it seems the PO can be much rougher with a box marked as fragile. I have much better luck with unmarked boxes. It's really a crap shoot. But that box did not look properly packed to me, either - not enough padding and room for the eggs to cushion any blows.

honestly, I have no idea...he was perfectly fine and healthy...also do not think anything could've gone in there....just now trying to find out where I could have a necropsy done...he was so beautiful...miss him already...RIP

I haven't heard back from the seller. I don't think he liked me telling him I thought they were poorly packaged. I'll keep y'all updated on it.
