I leaving VA on the 28th, I will probably spend the night in your area and pick up the morning of the 29th if you could do that? I would love chicks if hatch some, but am happy with eggs too!

LOL - while I live too far south for you to make a trip for my eggs/chicks, we're going to be in Williamsburg (would be on your rout home) exactly a week after you'll be going through. Too funny!

I have some new pics. I have 4 pullets and a roo. 3 of the girls are laying and Boo, the blue pullet should start laying withing a month or so I'm guessing.


The mille fleur girl in front is a bit older then the other girls and lays a pretty large egg. She's crested but the roo went through a couple months where he was pretty rough on the girls so its a little thin.

This girl doesn't have many specks, and the ones she does have are blue but I think she'll make some pretty chicks with my boy!

This is the absolute friendliest chicken ever. If she sees me open the back door she's over the fence and is running to me for treats!! She's been getting more and more white and I love her coloring!
