Well, I don't "think" any of them have sprigs, but even after looking at previous pics I'm still a little uncertain as to what a sprig is.He's beautiful! I don't have any Gunnar sons that color - he has more red and less blue than most I've had. LOVE him! How is his comb? Any sprigs? His legs seem to be spread nicely - a good wide stance which might suggest he'll be nice and wide when he is bigger. He is nicely proportionate... looks like you got a good one there!
I'll get a pic of both boys combs later today.
Dweezil is slightly larger than the 4 pullets I have, but Vacker is huge... he's a lot bigger, and a lot more mature looking, than Dweezil.
But they are so different, that I'm excited to have 2 roos with totally different coloring.
Now... I just have to decide which pullets to put with which roos.
I figured as they got closer to laying I'd post pics of all 4 girls (wouldn't want to flood the thread with pics), and see what everyone thought about potential crosses.
Variety is what I'm going for (after correctness that is), so I'm thinking the lightest 2 hens with Vacker and the darkest 2 with Dweezil... at least to start with.
I need to go back and look and sprigs again... will take some comb pics today.
