You could call them Påsk Eggers! (Påsk = Swedish Easter)
Would it give you a very light green egg since SFH eggs are so light?

I used the heat plate with my last non-broody hatch. I LOVE IT... Would never use anything else (except maybe a sweeter heater) ever again if I had a choice.
Besides, I always wondered what the neighbors thought when they saw the red light glowing in the window at night (a certain Police song always comes to mind: "Roxanne, you don´t have to turn on the red light; those days are over...").
Your Brahma probably won't adopt babies at this point.Candled the eggs in my bator yesterday- 10 out of 10 are developing, looks like I got pretty good fertility! Even the 4 that had been in the fridge are developing. If I just get 3 I´think I´ll still be happy after the last disaster. If these hatch, it´ll be my first generation layed and hatched here. In any case, it´ll be the last hatch until Sping. Really!
Just bought a heating-plate for chicks. Was going to try using it instead of a heat lamp. Has anyone had any experiences with a heating-plate yet? My second option: one of my Brahma hens has got only 2 chicks (I took most of the eggs away because I didn´t want any more Brahma); they´re already about 3 weeks old, but maybe she would take any SFH that hatch, too, and the Brahma are so easygoing, I don´t think the other 2 chicks would pick on the little ones,
