They remind me of a speckled sussex/mille fleur cross-- if such a bird existed....

I think they look great, but the personality of the breed is what I've come to really appreciate. They strike a great balance. They're energetic and active, but they're not flighty. They crave human interaction. They are very curious about what's going on around them. As far as temperament, they're ideal barnyard and backyard chickens. I've also noticed that as they age a little the hens' eggs are getting quite a bit larger. It is now impossible to distinguish their eggs in size, shape and color from the eggs we're getting from the large Sussex and Orpingtons. For a medium-sized bird, the Swedes have a large egg.

Greenfire had a rare chick special going with 12 chicks for $129 My babies arrived Friday and I got 3 Swedish Flower hens !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They are settling in very nicely I can't wait to watch them grow
