Can we talk about legs? well, leg color. My grey and gold has legs that have a definite grey cast to them My white has white legs. The others have a creamy white color, not pale yellow. The roo might be a little buttery yellow.
I think legs must be changable with feathering. I know mine are flowers.
Anyone else have colored legs?

I had issues with Bear, but turns out he's a Golden Campine! Doh!

What am I gonna do with a Golden Campine Roo?

Oh well, we'll figure that out when my SFH start laying. He is so super sweet.

Lol!! I don't know but when you figure it out let me know. I have a lonely Golden Campine Roo Too. Right now he is out side the pen running loose, with my egg eating hen. I can not trust either of them in any of my pens, or I will not have any good eggs. I think I'm going to take mine to the fall poultry swap and see if any one wants him.

I was just looking at my flowers legs this morning. Mostly creamy white and a few that look a bit greyish here too. I didn't notice any definite yellow tones on mine. I wonder if it is related to their bloodlines or simply an individual thing.

just got 6 swedish flower hen chicks from Contrastphoto, makes a total of 8 sfh and one sfh/orp mix I have now (plus my other egg layers)...
count me in to be more active in this thread (if I finally get to work a little less)

will be posting some pictures soon!!

I just put my first ever SFH eggs in the incubator today. I can't wait to see what I get in 21 days.

After a second candling, 18 look good for next week! Hoping for some dark colors in this hatch. The first seven are lighter colors, but pretty darn cute! For some reason I get an error message every time I try to upload photos to BYC, but it will let me change my Avatar. Any suggestions on how to correct that? I have put a few photos in my Avatars album. If anyone has dark (especially black) SFH and would like to swap some eggs let me know.
