I have a flock of sfh and I I have them free ranging with Rhode island red flock as well as all Bantus. one roo is a yr old and four 6 nth old roos as well as others all running together and were not raised together. all get along great unless feeding time then I throw out feed everywhere so the don't conflict much. I have pens being built to seperate them soon. my school all lay white eggs.

if you intend to keep the extra roos you'll need a lot more girls. One rooster can take care of about 10 hens. More roosters and the poor girls get overbred and injured.

I am planning on keeping them. I have tractors being made for each pair. I also am gathering typed of chickens on endangered list to breed and start hatching.if you happen to know of a type and place to buy from let me know. thanks glad to be a part of this group.
