Sweet Feed for laying hens??

I was told that all stock sweet feed fed as a treat will boost egg laying hens. Does anyone know if this help with egg production?

No and it's not good for them.
Laying is a hormonal thing, nothing you do, aside from hormone shots will increase Laying.
Unless, if course, they're not eating good feed to begin with and they're switched to better feed. The increased nutrition may trigger 'safe to lay' hormones.

Anything that is advertised as "boosting egg laying" should be an immediate red flag, for the reasons that nuthatched has described above.
