In Greece they don't drink a lot of cow's milk, so if you ask for a glass of milk when someone offers you a drink, you might get condensed milk mixed with water.

The first time I went to Greece when I was 12, this happened at my cousin's house. I thought it was the nastiest thing ever, but 5 years later, after having gone every summer, I really developed a taste for it! Can't say I've drank it since, but I still remember the flavor. Definitely not like milk, so if that's what you're expecting, it's not going to work out for you. Kind of like soymilk.

yup I am talking sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated that I do not care for) in coffee very very good!

My grandma used to make the best lemon pie with it. And it is so easy to make.
After making and cooking or buying a pre-made pie shell, just open the can and using 3 eggs, separate the yolks; add them to the scm. Use the whites to make the meringue. Cook to brown the meringue and that's it!
