Lovey has feathered feet, and a bad leg. (Not splayed, just a limp.) I am glad we have a small group. Chicks with a limp are good baby sitters.

Oh poor Lovey! It looks like she also has 5 toes? Maybe part silkie? Could her foot be fixed with a brace possibly?

It is not splayed. She holds it under her belly when standing so straight up. I am not a person who tapes up any legs.

Oh I see, I thought maybe just her foot was crooked which could easily be fixed with tape. Havent had one holds the foot straight up before. Hope she can still live a good life!

I was playing with the babies, and I went to pick them up yesterday and at only 2 days old they had the instinct to peck a hand that comes to grab them. Today I gave them little bits of salmon. They loved it.
