thanks for the criteria!! it's hard to say where geezerness starts anymore! I remember 10 cent payphones, 75 cent kids price at movie theaters, and buying cigs for my aunt for 45 cents a pack

party lines kept on depending on where you lived---my father in law had one on the farm in 1983--I never had experienced one myself before that
