Actually @TheDawg most of the places and bands they feature and display on the show, or even talk about, are real. You can go there, eat, see bands or live music, etc, if you want. It is the closest New Orleans show to being real (except the story lines) that has been filmed here that I can think of.

That’s amazing!!! I love that!! usually those things are so fake so it’s really cool that one’s not haha I always die at horrible Boston accents like I was watching a show a few weeks ago and it was sooooo overdone and horrible, tried way too hard, and I was like but then a few episodes later they had another New England that was spot on I know that’s not the same as the places but still

I am only a fake geezer. But I have to say that the color scheme of tonight’s dinner put me strongly in the mind of 70s decor. Olive green and orange!

Is mustardy gold orangey 70s too!? If so I also am LOL

The house I spent most of my childhood in had orange shag carpet, and a main bathroom with orange counter tops and orange linoleum. The kitchen and half bath were orange and yellow with dark wooden cabinets. It was...memorable.

We had that nasty burnt orange shag too. Also the orange & yellow bathroom linoleum, but the bathroom counters were actually pink. Go figure. I think a decorator would have died on the spot had they seen it.
