My parents also seemed to think avocado green was a great idea for the bathroom No streamers, but there were Choppers (no smut intended ) and Chippers (in the UK).

I had one very much like this. A boy's bike, banana seat, sissy bar, high handlebars and multiple gears, shift in the same place (mine was 5 speeds), but it was black. I loved that bike. Santa brought it to me.

We had the backyard swing set, but couldn't tip it over.
Daddy set it in cement, so that wouldn't happen.
But you could near kill yourself swinging as high as the top bar
