Switching chickens diet to animal proteins

Yes they are a dual purpose breed. They are a cross between my gold star hens (RIR/RIW) and New Hampshire red rooster. I will post any changes I have to make as I go along or at the very least post an update after slaughter.

I really hope the OP does continue to report back on the results.
Usually when someone chooses to try something wildly unorthodox, whether it be feeding or incubating, they become conspicuously absent when the experiment goes awry.

That pork will be about 60+% protein, the wheat will be about 10-12%. I agree the pork is superior in the amino acid balance but just from a protein perspective one would need about 50 parts wheat to 6 parts pork to achieve 18% crude protein.
That has the potential to create some really harsh nutritional deficiencies.
If the pork portion of the diet is much higher than that, high ammonia and potentially gout are clear possibilities.
Such a huge portion of the diet made up solely of wheat. All I can say is - poor chickens.
If one doesn't want to provide the nutrition chickens are known to need, then why bother to raise them in the first place?
