Our Africans are 7 weeks. They've been on 18% non-medicated chick starter free-choice, with grass when we are home to let themgraze. Starting next week we'll have someone home most of the time so they can graze pretty much all day every day. We have acres of grass for them to eat. They're in a secure pen at night. So ...

Would some other feed be better than chick starter?
Should we continue to offer feed free-choice in their pen at night or somehow limit it?
Their first couple weeks, I mixed liquid poultry vitamins into their water but have not done so lately. If they're grazing do they need a vitamin supplement?

Thanks!

You can keep feeding starter or a grower feed until they start laying. Then switch to a layer feed and/or provide oyster shell separately.
You can also leave feed available free choice. They will eat what they want. Hopefully more weeds and bugs than pellets.
Vitamins if you want. If they are getting a good diet, they should be fine.
