I have a 2 week old teeny banty chick with a swollen back end she's not pasted up her little hiney is just swollen and red and cracked and she has a hard time going to the bathroom because it looks like it kinda scabs up like a fever blister does and she tries to go to the bathroom she strains and nothing happens i've taken her in the house and cleaned her up and i've got a small syringe with a skinny plastic tip that i've used to clean her up with and it seems once i do this she makes a weird peep and goes to the bathroom she eats and drinks and runs around like all the others and as far as i know no one is pecking at her that i've seen i've tried all the suggestions i've found here but nothing seems to work i'm going to try vasoline when i get home and see if that does any better. Can i use neosporin on her
Little Smore's hiney is looking much better this morning i've been putting antibacterial handstuff on her for 3 days 2-3 times a day after i've cleaned the area with a sensitive skin baby wipe and then i put vasoline on her and it's really helping she even "defended" ZZ my turken when one of the others was picking at her fuzz it was so cute
