I had to bring my Brahma hen in a couple nights ago because she was lying in the snow and not waking up. She is doing much better now but the swelling in her feet hasn’t gone down. She hasn’t been able to walk yet and is still having trouble keeping her balance. Does anyone know what might be wrong with her & how to fix it?

Could you post pics of the bottom of the foot?
It could be frostbite or bumblefoot.

Frostbite in Chickens
This is an article about frostbite, I hope it helps.

Sassy seems to be doing better and has been eating food and drinking water on her own for a few days now. Im still worried about her feet though. The once-swollen areas have turned into massive blisters. Is this all part of the process? I don’t think it’s bumblefoot because she doesn’t have any scabs anywhere. I keep searching the web but can’t find answers anywhere.

Did you ever find out what you needed to do? I have a Brahma hen I found this morning whose feet are looking the same way after we just had a good week of really cold snowy weather. Thank you in advance.
