Swollen bump above eye, gasping, pale combs—please help

I just noticed today several of my birds with a single swollen bump above their eyes and one in particular panting. Quite a few have pale combs and egg production has been light lately.

It’s been hot lately so seeing a couple birds panting seemed ok. But today I saw the bumps…and my nuvogen Summer is panting a lot —and it’s NOT hot out.

I’m terrified this is something serious. These are pet laying birds and we run a pretty tight ship with cleanliness.

Any help is appreciated!!

I think that your birds are just hot. Comb and wattle color is good, no nasal discharge - the bump is rather insignificant. I don't think that you need to worry.

Thanks for the reply. Gosh I do hope you're right.
It's just that it is overcast and 65 degrees outside. I do have several other birds with this bump above their eye now and they have very pale combs.
