Swollen cheek, bleeding through nostrils.

So, simple to do and really helps people help you. Just go to the top right where your "BYC name" is and click. A drop-down menu will take you to “Account Details”. If you put your location there it will always be under your picture.

I didn't mean to pick on you but it used to be that almost everyone posted their location whether it was their state, country or even continent. Now it seems hardly anyone posts their location. It's not like anyone is going to come to your house or anything, it's just so we can save time recommending stuff and places to go to help you with whatever problem you're having.

I can’t rule out anything. The only thing that could step on him is another duckling his own age and there are only 3 in the brooder which is in our main floor bathroom. Maybe a bug bite, maybe tried eating something he shouldn’t that got lodged in his throat, I am unable to tell. But thank you for your thoughts.
Good luck he looks awful :(

Just know putting that liquid into his mouth and turn his head up can cause him to aspirate.
Yes, that’s why I tried to only deliver a few drops at a time. Still the risk, but with the right side fully blocked from the swelling, I just tried to do my best. So far, so good. He’s even trying to eat now. Can’t see a difference in how he looks yet though.

Thank you for your concern and helpful advice.

No worries. “Water off a ducks back” ;) I’m not easily offended and I understand exactly your point. Hence why I fixed the issue. :). But thank you for explaining.

How’s he doing this morning?
He’s still with us. He even ate out of my hand and drank. We are still in the thick of it but I am encouraged.

I stumbled across this site this morning and will try applying polysporin (no pain relief meds) and probiotics when my wife gets home.
