Swollen cheek, bleeding through nostrils.

You can do it! It's not that hard. If you saw the video you already know that you've got to direct the medication to the DUCK'S RIGHT side! Right!

I wrap my duck in a towel. I hold her with my left arm and use my thumb and index finger to pry her mouth open and once open I direct the meds down the right side of her mouth. If you use a syringe it shouldn't take but a few seconds and you will see her smack her lips a bit after you give it to her.

Good news/bad news. Bad news, the whole right side of Pickles’ throat is swollen shut/inaccessible.

Good news, instead, I squirted a few drops at a time into the back of his tongue, I’d close his mouth and tip his head back. He dribbled some out the sides of his mouth but is definitely ingested much of it. He fought me and is now tired but I feel better about his chances now that I did with the medication diluted into his water (not knowing if he’d ingest any worthwhile amount).

Amazing how quickly they find a way into your heart, isn’t it? Now, I pray the brine-soaked-cucumber gets a second chance in life.

Thank you all! I’ll keep you posted.

I sure hope you are right. This almost sounds like an allergy thing to me but I'm just going by people problems. Yes, it's amazing how quickly they can get to your heart.

I had my little penciled girl in my lap today giving her meds. I have no idea what is wrong with her. She's very lethargic and will actually not run from me so I know something is very wrong.
