Swollen cheek, raging infection

Here is a picture of my little Spitzy. She hasn't been feeling well for a while, but seemed to be eating and participating in the flock. Except for an early bedtime, there was nothing dramatically wrong.
A week ago, I noticed her left check being very swollen. Her right nostril seemed plugged up with a brown hardened substance. It looked like a big seed.
I have been feeding them fermented feed and one of the dish had tipped over a couple of weeks ago. I had already taken her in to clean up her crest, but did not notice anything odd with her nostril at the time. I removed that plug. The inside part looked like cream cheese.
The inside of her cheek looks very nasty, a mix of yellow, greenish curds type. The same seem to come out of the other end, just more watery (sorry if I am a little too graphic).
Her left waddle, the swollen cheek side, looks like it has crusted parts. I put tri-antibiotic ointment on this and it seems to relax a little.
I have given her 1 ml of penicillin in her quart of water feeder for 4 days, along with yogurts and scrambled eggs.
I stopped the antibiotics and have been putting vitamins and electrolytes in her water. It's day 3 for that.
She is eating, but jas a hard time swallowing. She is drinking plenty.
What do you think it could be?
What else would you suggest I do?
Any timeframe or milestone I should observe?
Thanks a lot. She is my only Spitzhauben and I do care for her very much.

I pulled the photo from your other thread so other's could see it along with your description.

Do you have a photo of the inside of the beak?
Have you looked inside the beak for any obstruction - see this link for the chonal slit
https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/sinus-infections.1074036/

The "cream cheese" would be pus. Were you able to remove that?

You mention that you administered penicillin. Was that powdered (water soluble)?

If you have vet care, that is best. If the inside of the beak has plaques or lesions, that sounds like canker. Separate her for treatment and clean/sanitize the food/water stations if she has been sharing with other birds.

Thank you very much Wyorp Rock for pulling the pic and the links you suggested.
To answer your questions, I removed the nasal plug and clean thedischarge everyday. I am intrigued that the nasal discharge is on the other side of her swollen cheek.
I will take a pic of the inside of her mouth. I'm still new at this, I guess I can hold her upside down to get a better view. She is no Buff Orpington and is still quite fiesty.
Can you tell the diffetence between a canker and an infection?
I have an egg business (pastured) and about 55 hens and 2 roosters, so it makes me very nervous wjen I read it is contagious.
I also habe snother coop with 60 chickens. I hope it's not canker

Thank you for the responses. Here are some pics. Sorry for the delay. She does smell
I am sending this on my phone, sorry for the doubles.
I have been giving her scambled eggs and bread soaked in milk. She has such a hard time swallowing, I don't know what else to give her. Any suggestions ?
Thank you for your help.

I suspect canker. However I've never seen a swollen cheek with canker. In any case, I'd get her started on metronidazole 250mg once a day for 5-7 days. It will treat canker protozoa and kill anaerobic bacteria which might be causing the swelling.
You can buy the metronidazole as fishzole in this link:

Canker is contagious and birds remain carriers. Ensure waterers and feeders are clean at all times.

X2. You might get metronidazole quickly from your normal vet. Fish Zole, Flagyl are same names for the drug. API General Cure is a brand that may be found at large pet stores. Here is some reading about canker:
