swollen corneas

One of my 4 week old Rhode Island reds has two swollen corneas. The tissue around the eyes is not red or swollen it's just the actual corneas themselves. They look like big glass marbles compared to my other chicks eyes. I've isolated the chick in case she has a communicable disease or the others where picking on her (which I don't think is the problem because the issue is in both eyes). They are in pine bedding which I change out daily or sometimes twice a day. They had a babysitter over the weekend so the bedding might not have been changed out as regularly but I'm not sure. Has anyone ever had this problem???
