So "Talia" (named after Talia Shire by my 6 year old) is about a week and half to 2 weeks old, shes a white leghorn. She was acting normal until yesterday morning/afternoon when we noticed she wasnt eating, drinking, just closing her eyes ect.
I browsed the forum and came up with she needed some nursing, so I got her to eat a bit of yoke and sugar water from an eye dropper, she seemed a bit better but still very very lethargic or she would try and get under the other chicks wings.
It is about 95 degrees out and I have the 100 watt bulb about 3 1/2 feet above one part of the brooder in the garage. All the other chicks are doing great, she just seems to have something going on. I noticed after feeding her some yoke a blister like bubble on her right shoulder, not sure if this is a swollen crop or not being a first time chicken owner. She did make a blackish wet poo when I put her by herself in a small box to run in side. Any ideas? Shes not looking so great, nutra drench will be here tomorrow.
Also I have now raised the water holder out of the shavings to make sure eating the shavings is not causing this, impacted crop.

if your chicken(s) do have impacted crop make sure that you have enough grit or oyster shell available for them to get
