My rooster has what looks like a swelling at his ankle area? He did get himself up into the rafters of our new coop in the summer. But it seems this thickening came on in the fall. I’ve read about bumble foot - is it possible to get that on this part of the leg/foot? He walks on it - roosts on it - can run - and hop on and off perch. Mystified.
it could be bumblefoot.
