Hi! We are fairly new to owning chickens and we picked up 6 hens last week. Noticed a couple days ago ones ear lobe was a little swollen. It's a bit worse today and looks like a a little buldge next to her mouth also. We wanted to add two more chickens but now we don't know what to do. The ear and eyes look clear. She acts fine and it's not warm to touch. It's just really hard. Any suggestions?
Thanks!!!

Have you taken a look inside the beak for any canker or yellow/white patches?

It looks like ear infection - you mention it's hard? There's no debris or pus in the ear canal?

I don't know - it looks lower than the ear canal, to me, like it might be from a bite on the upper wattle, itself. But yes, definitely check the ear canal for any drainage, pus, or gunk of any kind.
