For starters, since you really don't know exactly how serious this could be, I'd treat it as a simple eye infection and see how the hen responds.

First flush well with saline. Then push on the swollen area toward the eye to extract any pus in there. Then treat twice a day with terramycin eye ointment or a triple antibiotic ointment containing neomycin.

If she doesn't respond in a few days, then consider an oral antibiotic like Tylan 50 in addition to the eye ointment.

Tylan isn’t oral, it’s injectable. Also I have seen other posted with peahens with swollen eyes like this and it was hard to get rid of and needed antibiotics. I think this is more than a simple eye infection. Will see if I can find the thread of how to treat this.

You can give Tylan 50 injectable orally as well or by injection. If you have Baytril (enrofloxacin) that would be even better, since it would treat a respiratory sinus infection or something like E.coli as well. Use the antibiotic ointment in the eye twice a day after cleaning and trying to push out the pus. Push up in the roof of the beak (the choanal slit) as well. Here is a link where you can buy Baytril (enrofloxacin,) and dosage is 0.05 ml per pound of weight given twice a day orally for 5 days. Get the 100 ml liquid bottle:
