Swollen face

My rooster has a swollen face with light scabbing...we noticed a few days ago and thought it may be mites because it looks like he had some scales on his legs or lifting near his 5th toe (hes a silkie) I dont know what else to do we have completely cleaned their house sprayed them with the recommended stuff from the feed store (some.not toxic mite spray) used de in the house run and on chickens. I dont know what else it could be. Please help I'm worried about this guy.
