With the diphenhydramine tablets, I would give as close to 1/4 tablet as possible only once to see if the swelling goes down. I have not idea about Tumeric.

I just used Zoologix to do a respiratory panel on my duck. I was able to use my own supplies, Q-tips with one end up off, ziplock bagged it and sent it to them. It was 124$ for a full respiratory panel. Once they received it it was about a 4 day turnaround, maybe 5?Also there is a national lab that will send you swabs and supplies to take swabs of your hen’s throat and beak for testing. It is about 80 dollars for 8 different respiratory diseases including MG and coryza. If you can get a good sample, that would be great. Here is a link for the lab to contact for more info:

The first one is for an allergic reaction. You can give it to her if you like.If I was to give her turmeric for anti inflammatory, how much would I give her? I have this and another kind I also have these allergy pills, would these work?View attachment 3202815View attachment 3202810
If the head shaking continues I might be concerned about a respitory infection. You do not want to give antibiotics unless it is an infection, even a conventional vet would tell you that. I say that because them it kills the beneficial bacteria and allows an infection to take over, since there is no good bacteria to fight it off.Ok thank you. She seemed hot in the barn so I let her out of the crate into the barn where she laid In a nest in the corner like she always does for a while. (She hasn’t laid an egg in a long time) and then I put her outside in a seperate area. She also seemed a bit pale and shook her head once or twice. I gave her the allergy meds and some nutridrench.

Another reason for head shacking would be parasites, so check for that too. The pale face could be from heat stress. It's been hot here, and any hens that were struggling with heat these last few days would have a pale face off and on. The color came back once I cooled them down.
If you have a poultry vet near you, they will be able to test and get results quickly. Zoologixs can too, thats about a week turn around time with shipping. Still kind of long.
If she were mine, I would give Olive Leaf Extra, Echinacea tincture, and calendula tincuture for infection. I used it for my hen with a prolapse. She didn't already have an infection, but it did keep her from developing one. At the very least these herbs will help prevent infection, and boost her immune system. They certainly wont hurt.
Any bugs or imbedded ticks on her face, in her ears, etc.?so the swelling it getting no better, the wattle on the other side of her face is very swollen now and it seems slighlty puffy around the eye that was fine. She still is occasionally moving her head weird. I have her in a crate in the barn. I have her benedryl and the two natural supplements. Nothing seems to help. I also put some colloidal silver in her water and gave her some natural vitamin c that I and many friends give to all sorts of animals. It’s all natural.
I agree that no improvement likely means no sting.Any bugs or imbedded ticks on her face, in her ears, etc.?
She has an abrasion/wound on her right side near her beak. Can you tell if that's from another bird picking at her or?
For the swelling to worsen even after a dose of benedryl, then it's likely not due to a reaction from a sting.
Still hard to know what's causing the swelling. If it doesn't improve, then consider giving and antibiotic like Tylan.
