One of my adult and one chick coturnix quails both have swollen joints. Birds are from separate pens. What can it be? I'm guessing could be infection from cut. Joint is much bigger than normal and has yellow stuff under skin. I wonder what can I do to help poor birds? They eatin and drinkin well, but suffering of pain for sure. I'm sure that shot of antibiotic will help, but how to get it without vet prescription?
