Yes, but i don't feel that desperate just yet. I think I'll watch for any changes a bit longer.

Is her affected leg turned inward? the pics make it appear so.

I don’t think I would splint since she is not limping, and the swelling is soft. Splinting can sometimes cause mire swelling if it is tight, and vet wrap or cohesive wrap can move around causing it to become tight. I would watch it, and continue to update this thread.

I guess if you feel you need to do something an epsom salts soak wouldn't hurt.

That's what i was thinking i would do. Do you have any idea what type of process would cause soft swelling? Injury versus illness?

She may have come off of the roost wonky, and sprained her ankle? My best guess.

The Epsom salts soak in warm water for 30 would not hurt.

An update on Eleanor's leg...It is still swollen, even more so now, and it is still soft. She has some swelling that seems somewhat bumpy in the webbing between her outer and middle toes now on that foot. That part seems like it could develop into bumblefoot as I think I can see the tiniest scab. She is starting to show sensitivity on that foot now too, so it is time to take action. I am going to have to assume this is some sort of infection since it seems to be on one side only and getting worse. What do you all think? I'll post pics again tomorrow.

Here are updated photos. There is still only one leg affected. No other flock members have any symptoms. Notice the bumps between the toes in the second pic.
