2.18 grams per gallon is correct, and one teaspoon probably weighs about 3 grams.
2.18/3 = 0.73 teaspoons.

Just wanted to update...no help from the antibiotic. She still has a swollen ankle but seems to be doing what chickens do.

Was there ever resolution on this? I've got exactly the same thing going on with a cream crested legbar
