Hi. This morning my rooster was fine. Left to drop off my daughter and when I got back after an hour ish, he was suddenly acting strange.
Upon further examination

His throat is swollen, he is making funny noises sounds like he cant breathe, and there are somes sneezes, he also appears to have a lot of saliva in his mouth and cant swallow seems to be gasping. He seems to be having trouble breathing. The area that is swollen is directly under his face and upper neck. Ill post pictures asson as my phone charges a little bit.

The area that is swollen would be the upper esophagus a nd there does seem to be a smell of sorts on his breath. The crop itself is empty. I did just feed them before i left so im concerned he ate it all tofast and it got stuck?

I usually feed them 1-2 times a day and bring them cool snacks and bugs to chow down on through the day, I dont leave food out because we have rodent and local wildlife that love to come in and eat it.

He might be gorging himself due to the feeding schedule, and getting food stuck. I add a little water to small amounts of chicken feed made fresh which might slow him down.
