Hey there, Im a new goose mom and noticed one of my geese, about 2 months old, has a bulge on the side of her neck. Its closer to the base of the neck. Its not on the center, so does that eliminate it being a crop issue?
Shes acting fine, eats and drinks, energetic. In fact I noticed it a few days ago but just thought it was the position of her neck. Its still there, so now I need to take action.
Started adding ACV to water today. Also recently learned they arent supposed to eat long blades of grass... We have been plucking grass in the yard for their nightly snack when they have to be penned away for the night. Just learned that this can cause crop issues, so wont be doing that anymore, or will tear it up to be much smaller. They get organic feed from New Country Organics which contains probiotics.
Any advice? It seems so strange for the bulge to be on the side of the neck. Its probably about 2 1/2" long.
