Swollen Toe Joints?

I've noticed yesterday that one of my hen's toes is oddly swollen. It just seems to be the middle portion of her middle toe. She seems to be walking fine, it bends normally, and she doesn't freak out when I touch or put pressure on it (so I guess it doesn't hurt?) Her mood hasn't changed and just overall she's like her normal happy self.

I wasn't able to get a pic yesterday, but I'll try to provide one asap.

Photos would really help. Top and bottom of foot.

If it's not bothering her, then it may be one of those things that you just keep an eye on, but it's worth getting a better look.

Alright
Just got off work so it's too dark right now, but I'll try to get a picture in the morning

Also gotta be careful because I just found out today that some bees decided to move in near the coop (not on it, but close by)
With that, now it makes me wonder if it's a bee sting. I looked up causes for swollen joints and none of the examples look like what she has. It's like the one segment of her toe is a bit larger than her other toes

The bees have a give as well. When my mom showed me the picture of it, I thought it was just a swarm but no, so I guess they've been there for at most a week

Here's the image, it's the toe in front

And it's a bit unfocused but I got a picture of the bottom of her foot
I don't think it's swollen because the bottom is still soft like normal, and they're just slightly pink

To help with swelling, boil ginger root and put it in the blender. Then, take the mash and put it on some pause or cloth. wrap the foot/toe and leave for 10 min. when you take the cloth off, the skin should look a bit softer and the swelling should go down! hope that helps!

I checked on it again today and it looks worse
The scales are lifted up a bit and kind of soft, so my guess now is mites. The bottom of her foot looks fine and is just covered in dirt at the moment. The top looks like it has some dry, hard scales poking out of it. It's also much more swollen around the base of her middle toe

Dig the poop ball out of the crevice of her foot, that will get impacted and turn hard making it difficult for her to walk.

Scales look damaged from injury like she's knocked it against something or she or another hen is picking at them.
Doesn't look like SLM to me, but there's no harm in slathering on some vaseline.
