Swollen toe! please help!!!

My silkies 5th toe is swollen. I’m not sure why what do you think it is? I’m worried I hope it’s not something bad! I put reddish cream on it (povidine) and sprayed it with saline it looks pretty bad it’s much bigger than the toe in the other foot can someone please help I don’t know what to do!!!

Soak the foot in warm Epsom salts. That will float out anything thatmay have lodged under the scales, and it increases blood circulation. Look for anything foreign - pine cone scale, thread wrapped around toe, splinters, etc.

You can use Prid drawing salve on the toe and wrap it with elastic bandage. That can also help work anything foreign lodged under the scales.
